Ward Focus: Connect with God by centering our homes and our lives on Jesus Christ and His Gospel and connect with your neighbor

• Please come join the Ward Choir and practice today at 2:15 p.m. until 3 p.m. We are preparing and rehearsing Christmas music for the Christmas Program. We would love to more people participate, including more youth, so grab a friend or family member or two and come sing! We'll be in the chapel choir seats.

• Adult Institute--Why is preparing for the Second Coming so important? President Nelson taught,

 “We do not know the day or the hour of His coming. But I do know that the Lord is prompting

me to urge us to get ready for that ‘great and dreadful day’” (Russell M. Nelson, April

2025). With that prophetic urging in mind, I invite you to join a 12-week course titled

“Preparing for the Second Coming,” held Thursdays from January 8 through March 26,

7:00–8:00 p.m. in the Relief Society Room of the Lehi East Stake Center. All ages are

• BIG NEWS: The Lord is using education to hasten his work. To help people move quicker towards earning an online certificate or degree at an affordable price, PathwayConnect is now three terms, each seven weeks. This means students can begin earning a marketable certificate even sooner. Several scholarships are available. Classes begin January 5, 2026 and the deadline to apply for the next term start is December 29, 2025. Institute of religion classes are now open to BYU-Pathway students of all ages. • STAKE INSTITUTE CLASS starts Aug. 14. You are warmly invited to join our weekly institute religion class, “The Book of Mormon—Your Ultimate Handbook.” Together we will learn how to find solutions to life’s toughest problems using “the most correct of any book on earth.” This 12-week course will be held every Thursday from August 14 through October 30, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, in the Lehi East Stake Center chapel (2790 N. • Ward History: The RS Christmas Party and the Ward Breakfast are now in the. We invite you to log in and check them out. You can see the articles and photos by going to unithistory.churchofjesuschrist.org and signing in with your password.  You will get a code to enter.                        

• Senior Missionary Update: If you and your spouse are available and interested in serving a full-time mission but would like the comfort of still living at home, you might consider serving as a member leader support (MLS) couple in the Utah Orem Mission. The mission needs both English and Spanish-speaking couples, who love people, the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and who could devote 30-40 hours per week to the work. For more information, talk to your bishop or Stake President.”
