As we begin a new year, many of us are contemplating projects that we hope to tackle in the new year. Perhaps a change in our employment or a landscaping project. Maybe we have a remodeling project in mind.
One project that we should not miss is the opportunity to follow President Nelson's recommendation that we "remodel [our] home into a center of gospel learning." What can we rearrange in our family routine, or perhaps even our physical surroundings, that would allow us to develop a center of gospel learning? And what blessings would flow to our family as a result?
President Nelson promises us that "your Sabbath days will truly be a delight. Your children will be excited to learn and to live the Savior’s teachings, and the influence of the adversary in your life and in your home will decrease. Changes in your family will be dramatic and sustaining. [October 2018, emphasis in original]"

One of my favorite Conference talks from October was Elder Uchtdorf when he talked about how Jesus Christ is our Strength. I loved this thought, “If the Savior were here right now, what would he say to you?” Each of us are different, we have our own trials we are facing and weaknesses we struggle with, yet as Elder Uchdorf pointed out, his message to each one of us would be the same.
Elder Uchtdorf said, “I believe the Savior Jesus Christ would want you to see, feel and know that he is your strength. That with his help, there are no limits to what you can accomplish. That your potential is limitless. He would want you to see yourself the way He sees you. And this is very different from the way the world sees you. The Savior would declare, in no uncertain terms, that you are a daughter or son of the Almighty God.”
I hope and pray each one of you sisters turn to your Savior for his strength each day and see the potential you have within you. You are a Child of God, and your influence is limitless. As our Prophet said we “need your strength, your conversion, your condition, your ability to lead, your wisdom and your voices. We simply cannot gather Israel without you.” Imagine the impact your testimony of the Savior has already had on the world and what you can continue to do. We love you and are so grateful for each one of you!

Hello, Lehi 26th ward!
As the new year approaches, it's a time for us to think about the future and set new goals for ourselves. It's an opportunity to realign our lives with the example of Jesus Christ and the values he taught.
One way to do this is by focusing on the things that are most important in our lives. Whether it's our relationships, our spiritual growth, or our service to others, we can set goals that will help us live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
The beginning of a new year is also a time to look ahead and plan for the future. It's a chance to think about the direction we want to go and the things we want to accomplish. By setting clear goals and working towards them, we can take control of our lives and make progress toward the things that matter most to us.
In conclusion, the new year is a time for new beginnings and fresh starts. As we focus on the future, set new goals, and seek to live a life that Jesus Christ would want for us, we can find blessings and purpose in the journey ahead. Wishing everyone a happy and blessed new year.
